The next Xbox will ship to retailers in late October or early November of next year with six times the processing power of the Xbox 360, sources close to the project have told IGN this week. With the next Xbox coming out late 2013 I’m going to put a launch date on the yet to be made official console. Now IGN say late October or early November I’m going to go with early November or more to the point November 5th 2013.

Now we could start seeing small leaks around August 2012 from devs getting the “Dev Kits” which will be based on the system’s final configuration. There is no price point known yet but we could expect to see more info at E3 this June and of course a price at E3 2013.
